Privacy Policy

  1. This Privacy Policy outlines the principles of personal data processing and the use of cookies and similar technologies on the website operated at pretende.pl (hereinafter referred to as the "Service").
  2. The personal data controller is PRETENDE Spółka z ograniczoną odpowiedzialnością, ul. Szczęśliwa 50, 80-176 Gdańsk, Poland, registered in the Register of Entrepreneurs maintained by the District Court Gdańsk-North in Gdańsk, 7th Commercial Division of the National Court Register under number 0000908770, NIP 584-280-60-02, REGON 389322937 (hereinafter referred to as the "Controller" or "we").

  4. The Controller has not appointed a Data Protection Officer, as such an obligation does not arise from Article 37 of the GDPR. For inquiries, please contact us as specified in section 3.

2. Legal Basis for Processing

We process personal data in accordance with:

  • Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 (GDPR),
  • the Polish Act of May 10, 2018, on Personal Data Protection,
  • the Polish Act of July 18, 2002, on Providing Services by Electronic Means,
  • the Polish Act of July 16, 2004, Telecommunications Law (regarding cookies).

4. Data Recipients

  1. Data may be disclosed to entities supporting the Controller, including hosting providers (LH.pl), analytics tools (Google LLC), marketing services (Google Ads, Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.), email tools (Brevo/Sendinblue SAS), and IT infrastructure service providers.
  2. All entities process data based on data processing agreements in accordance with Article 28 of the GDPR.

5. Data Transfers Outside the EEA

  1. We use service providers based outside the EEA (e.g., Google LLC – USA). Data is transferred based on Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission (Art. 46 GDPR) or other mechanisms compliant with the GDPR.
  2. You may request a copy of the safeguards used by contacting us (section 3).

6. Data Subject Rights

You have the right to: access your data; rectify it; delete it; restrict processing; data portability; object; withdraw consent at any time; lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO).

7. Automated Decision-Making

We do not use profiling or other automated decision-making in the Service that produces legal effects.

8. Security Measures

We apply, among others: SSL/TLS encryption, access control systems, backups, security monitoring, and regular audits.

9. Cookies and Similar Technologies

  1. The Service uses cookies in accordance with Article 173 of the Telecommunications Law. Cookies are categorized as:
    • essential – to ensure proper functioning of the Service,
    • analytics (Google Analytics) – to help improve the Service,
    • marketing (Google Ads, Meta Ads) – to display user-targeted ads.
  2. On your first visit, we display a cookie banner where you can choose your consent level. You can change your consent at any time in the Cookie Preferences Center or via browser settings.

10. Changes to the Privacy Policy

Revised versions will be published on the Service with their effective date.
